The latest Release Candidate 2 for the Raptor N64 port is here — and it’s packing fixes, tweaks, and a few important reminders! Here’s what’s new:
✅ Crash Fixed!
- Say goodbye to the Bravo Sector, Wave 8 crash… when playing without an expansion pack. 🛠️
⚙️ Performance & Stability Improvements
- General optimizations for smoother gameplay and fewer hiccups.
📌 Critical Notes (Read Before Launching!):
- 🎵 Music = Expansion Pack Required
- Without the 64MB RAM cart (or equivalent), you’ll only get SFX.
- 💾 Save Type = EEPROM 16K
- Double-check your emulator/emu config — manual selection may be needed!
- 📂 Full Game Assets?
- The port looks for GLB files in the SD root, but full assets only work with an expansion pack (memory limits, sadly).
- 🧪 Built on libdragon’s preview branch — expect cutting-edge features (and maybe a few quirks 😉).
