🚨 Raptor: Call of the Shadows – N64 RC2 Update Alert! 🚨

The latest Release Candidate 2 for the Raptor N64 port is here — and it’s packing fixes, tweaks, and a few important reminders! Here’s what’s new:

Crash Fixed!

  • Say goodbye to the Bravo Sector, Wave 8 crash… when playing without an expansion pack. 🛠️

⚙️ Performance & Stability Improvements

  • General optimizations for smoother gameplay and fewer hiccups.

📌 Critical Notes (Read Before Launching!):

  • 🎵 Music = Expansion Pack Required
  • Without the 64MB RAM cart (or equivalent), you’ll only get SFX.
  • 💾 Save Type = EEPROM 16K
  • Double-check your emulator/emu config — manual selection may be needed!
  • 📂 Full Game Assets?
  • The port looks for GLB files in the SD root, but full assets only work with an expansion pack (memory limits, sadly).
  • 🧪 Built on libdragon’s preview branch — expect cutting-edge features (and maybe a few quirks 😉).
