Azahar – 2125.1.2: Add attestation support to increase release security (#2117)
Azahar – 2125.1.2 is officially here!
If you haven’t jumped on board yet, Azahar is the ambitious open-source 3DS emulator project born from the merger of PabloMK7’s Citra fork and Lime3DS. It’s built to be the future of 3DS emulation, keeping your favorite handheld classics running smoothly on Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android.
This latest update focuses heavily on behind-the-scenes security to ensure your emulation experience stays safe and transparent. Here is what’s new in version 2125.1.2:
- Enhanced Release Security: The team has added attestation support, making it much easier to verify the integrity of every release you download.
- SBOM Integration: New Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) support provides awesome transparency regarding all the components used in the build.
- Improved Verification Tools: New automated scripts have been added to the toolkit to help verify the release process, ensuring everything is clean and secure before it hits your device. 🛡️
While there aren’t any big changes to gameplay or core emulation features this time around, these security upgrades are a massive win for the community’s peace of mind!
